OHIO – Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol will conduct statewide OVI checkpoints on Saturday, May 16, with assistance from local law enforcement agencies.
The checkpoints are part of ongoing efforts to enforce impaired driving laws, deter dangerous behavior, and intercept drivers operating under the influence.
The patrol says it plans to announce Friday which counties will host checkpoints, with specific checkpoint locations to be released Saturday morning.
