WHEELING, W.Va. — The annual Crosscurrents exhibition is once again highlighting regional creativity in the Ohio Valley, bringing together more than 75 works from artists across West Virginia and surrounding states.
The exhibit is on display at the Oglebay Institute Stifel Fine Arts Center, featuring a wide range of styles including abstract painting, ceramics, and mixed media works.

This year’s Best in Show award was presented to Donald Depuydt for his piece “Knocked Sideways,” recognized for its layered textures and bold visual contrast.
Second Place went to Gregory Bucher for “Container Ship at the Horizon,” while Third Place was awarded to Robert Villamagna for “Coffee Arcade,” a mixed media piece blending nostalgia with modern design elements.
