Bellaire Public Library to Offer Free Summer Meals for Youth

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – The Bellaire Public Library will once again provide free summer meals for children and teens through the SUN Meals Summer Nutrition Program.

The program begins June 3 and continues through Aug. 28 at the library, located at 330 32nd Street in Bellaire. Meals will be available every Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Officials say the program is open to all children and teens age 18 and younger in Belmont County. No registration or income verification is required.

The summer meal initiative is offered in partnership with the Children’s Hunger Alliance as part of the USDA’s Summer Nutrition Programs, also known as SUN Meals.

Library Director Erin Rothenbuehler says the library is committed to supporting the well-being of local families while helping ensure children have access to healthy meals during the summer months.

Additional information is available by calling the library at 740-676-9421 or by visiting Bellaire Public Library
