SHADYSIDE, Ohio — One person was found dead during a welfare check in Shadyside on Wednesday morning, according to initial emergency dispatch reports.
Police and other emergency personnel were called to a residence at approximately 9:20 a.m. Dispatch information initially indicated that authorities might need to force entry into the home.
A request was made for the Belmont County Coroner’s Office to respond.
The identity of the deceased person has not been released. No information about the circumstances or cause of death was immediately available.
