ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — Mayor Kathryn Thalman announced that the City of St. Clairsville has begun examining the possibility of constructing a large indoor event center to meet the growing demand for community venues.
According to Mayor Thalman, existing locations such as the new Unified Bank building, the Kevin Barr Event Center and the amphitheater at Central Park are frequently booked with events, highlighting the need for an additional facility.
While interest in the project is strong, Thalman acknowledged that securing funding remains an obstacle. City officials are currently exploring potential sources of financial support and partnerships to make the proposal a reality.
