Steubenville, Ohio — On July 18, 2025, the Trinity Health System School of Nursing celebrated the graduation of its Class of 2025. The commencement address was delivered by Patricia N. Anderson, MSN, RN, Instructor, School of Nursing, Trinity Health System.
Several graduates were recognized for their outstanding achievements:
Gionna Gulan of Steubenville, Ohio, was honored with the Dr. Dominic A. Brancazio MD Memorial Award for Highest Academic Achievement.
Hannah Stover of Steubenville, Ohio, received the THS Medical Staff Award for Second Highest Academic Achievement and the Nancy Bright MD Excellence in Pediatrics Award.
Courtney Long of Amsterdam, Ohio, was presented with the THS Nursing Service Award for Third Highest Academic Achievement.
The Dr. Carmel Esposito Community Leadership Award was given to Jenna Horn of Jewett, Ohio.
Jeffrey McGill of Uhrichsville, Ohio, received the Patrick H. Macedonia, MD Excellence in Maternal-Newborn Nursing Award.
Other graduates in the Class of 2025 included Janna Glatzer and Rebecca Hoover.
“They stayed the course,” Anderson said. “They did not quit. To quote Mark Twain, ‘Kindness is the language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see!’ And this group of students is incredibly kind and caring. The world is a better place for having them as healthcare professionals.”
