BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – The Belmont County commissioners approved funds for street paving in Bridgeport at their regular Wednesday meeting.

They approved $64,000 for paving in Kirkwood Heights and on Jacquette Street in the village. The funds are sourced from the state of Ohio motor vehicle license tax fees funds, according to Commissioner Josh Meyer.

Belmont County Engineer Terry Lively tells River News Network that the commissioners will next post the paving jobs for bid and a project timeframe can then be determined.
