BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – The Belmont County Sheriff’s Office reports it has arrested a Bellaire man as part of an investigation into the alleged rape of a 12-year-old.
Thomas Edward Carson, 47, stands accused of the rape of a minor under the age of 13.
The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit is seeking additional information about Carson before prosecutors present the case to a grand jury, which could result in additional charges.
