MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. — The Marshall County Commission is accepting letters of interest from individuals interested in serving as the county’s next Assessor.
The position became vacant after former Assessor Eric Buzzard resigned following a guilty plea in connection with an embezzlement scheme.
Letters of interest will be accepted through November 21, 2025, with the commission planning to announce the new Assessor on or before December 5, 2025.
Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their letters promptly to be considered for the role.
