BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – On April 2, the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit executed two separate search warrants for drug activity.
Detectives executed the first at 69966 Woods Road, Bridgeport Ohio. Detectives encountered multiple people inside the residence as well as suspected drugs and drug abuse instruments.
The homeowner, 40-year-old Michael Malone, was arrested on Drug Possession charges and possession of drug abuse instruments. 20-year-old Jerzi Richards was arrested on failure to appear warrants from Belmont and Jefferson counties.
The second search warrant was executed at 512 Clinton Street Martins Ferry where detectives located a large amount of suspected methamphetamines and made multiple arrests.
31-year-old Ronald Hickman and 39-year-old Leaona Kellwood were arrested on drug trafficking and drug possession charges.
Detectives also have filed charges on more people stemming from this investigation.
