WHEELING, W.Va. – Don’t miss this first-ever, unique event on the Ohio River at Heritage Port on Sunday, June 8.
The Ohio River Splashtacular — Making Waves for Easterseals, presented by Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration, will feature two stunning shows by the award-winning Chippewa Lake Water Ski Show Team, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Human pyramids on skis, spectacular stunts off the 6-foot ramp, barefoot skiing and more will leave audiences amazed.
Other activities will include a SMART Science demonstration, Robert Gaudio playing water-themed music, critters from the Good Zoo, a clean water demo by the West Virginia Rivers Coalition, a river barge tow boat, basket raffles, 50/50 and more! Come down to the port for lunch or an afternoon snack from our food trucks. Wear your suits and cool off at the new Splash Pad.
And don’t miss out on your chance to win a Yamaha JetBlaster DLX so you can take advantage of the Mighty Ohio as a recreational playground! Second and third prize in the big raffle will be $1,000 in GROCERIES from the grocery store of the winners’ choice!
The Ohio River Splashtacular raffles benefit the programs of Easterseals Rehabilitation Center, a nonprofit charity that has been helping children with disabilities live their best lives in Wheeling for over 87 years.
