BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – Belmont County Treasurer Katherine J. Kelich announced Friday that her office mailed the second-half 2024 Real Estate Tax and Manufactured Home Tax bills to residents.
Property owners not receiving their second-half bills by July 1, 2025 should contact the Treasurer’s office at 740-699-2145.
The due date for payment is Friday, July 18, 2025. Postmark is accepted as a timely payment. To ensure that the postmark is placed on the envelope, it is recommended that the envelope be taken into the post office and postmarked. If there is no postmark and the payment is received after the due date, it will not be accepted as timely.
A five percent penalty will be added to any current year payments made within the first ten days after the due date. Thereafter, all unpaid bills will have a ten percent penalty added to the current year unpaid balance.
Payments may be made in one of the following manners:
- By mail – Mail the payment by check, money order, or certified funds using the self-addressed return envelope. Do not send cash.
- By drop-box – A secure drop-box is located on the left side of the front stairs of the Courthouse. Do not pay by cash using the drop-box.
- By credit card, debit card, or e-check – Visit www.belmontcountytreasurer.org to make the payment or call 1-877-648-0134. Your 7-digit bill number is required and can be found on your tax bill. A convenience fee will be assessed.
- In office – Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All federal holidays are observed.
The tax stub on the top half of all tax bills should accompany any of the payment methods selected.
