Hancock County, WV — A former Hancock County Sheriff’s Deputy has pleaded guilty to a felony charge involving child pornography.
Patrick J. Hoder entered the plea late last week before Circuit Judge David Sims, admitting to possession of fewer than 50 images of child pornography.
Prosecutors are recommending a sentence of two years in prison, followed by ten years of supervised release. Hoder will also be required to register as a sex offender for life.
A sentencing date has not yet been scheduled.
