Tyler County Sheriff’s Office Appoints Sergeant to Lead Sex Crimes Investigations

Tyler County, WV — The Tyler County Sheriff’s Office has created a new position dedicated to investigating sex crimes and has appointed Sergeant Tammy Satterfield to the role.

Satterfield brings 18 years of law enforcement experience to the position, including time spent as a School Resource Officer.

Sheriff’s officials say the move reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to improving how it investigates and responds to sensitive cases involving sexual offenses.
