WHEELING, W.Va. — Legendary stand-up comedian and former late-night television host Jay Leno will perform live at the Capitol Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.
Leno rose to national prominence during his two-decade run as host of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on NBC, where the program was the top-rated late-night show for much of his tenure.
Despite his television success, Leno has continued performing stand-up comedy and regularly tours the country, appearing in more than 100 live shows each year.
In addition to comedy, Leno is known for his passion for automobiles. His popular digital series Jay Leno’s Garage features rare and historic vehicles and the stories behind them, drawing a global audience of car enthusiasts.
During his career, Leno has received numerous honors, including Emmy Awards and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, and he has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
A venue presale for the Wheeling show will begin Thursday, March 12, at 10 a.m. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday, March 13.
