STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — Steubenville City Council on Tuesday approved a plan to bring in outside help for economic development efforts, voting to hire Jason Hamman of Hamman Consulting Group on a trial basis.
Under the agreement, Hamman will oversee development activities for the city, working up to 30 hours per month over the course of a one-year contract.
Officials said the arrangement is intended to provide additional support and guidance as the city pursues growth and development initiatives.
