Earth Day events spread across Ohio, West Virginia with cleanups, planting, and community action

This Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22, communities across West Virginia and Ohio are coming together to plant trees, clean rivers, welcome wildlife, and share ideas for a healthier region.

The 1969 fire on Cleveland’s Cuyahoga River helped spark the national outrage that gave us the very first Earth Day in 1970.
