Multiple Lane Closures for Wetzel County

WETZEL COUNTY, W.Va. – Multiple lane closures will begin in Wetzel County this week.

Portions of County Route 64/2 (Anthem/Earnshaw Road), WV 7, County Route 9 (Sugar Run Road), County Route 64/7 (Windy Ridge Road), County Route 7/6 (Mt. Herman Road), County Route 7/24 (Old Route 7), and County Route 68/8 (No Man’s Road), in Hundred, Burton, Littleton, and Metz, will be restricted to one lane from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning Thursday, April 23, 2026 through late July.

The lane restrictions are required for fiber optic installation work. Flaggers will be on site to maintain traffic flow.

Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and expect delays while traveling through the affected areas.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may alter the project schedule.
