BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – The Union Local Jets now have an actual U.S. Air Force F-16 fighter jet for display on campus.
On Thursday, a semi-truck delivered the aircraft, which was once used by the Air Force Thunderbirds aerobatic demonstration team.
Weather permitting, the retired jet will be lifted onto a pedestal Saturday for permanent display. The project is being fully funded through private donations.
