The City of Weirton has announced a revised road closure schedule for a portion of North 12th Street as crews complete road maintenance work next week.
According to the Weirton Department of Public Works, North 12th Street will be closed from Thurman Avenue to Kings Creek Road on Monday, June 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The roadway will also be closed Tuesday, June 2, beginning at 8:30 a.m. until maintenance work is completed.
Officials said the project is weather permitting and motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow for additional travel time while work is underway.
