WHEELING, W.Va. — The stage is set once again at the Oglebay Institute as the Towngate Cabaret returns for an evening of live music, performance, and community fundraising in support of local arts.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, and will take place at Towngate Theatre & Cinema, bringing together a lineup of performers for a night dedicated to celebrating the region’s arts community.
Organizers say the fundraiser will feature dozens of performers throughout the evening, showcasing a variety of musical and theatrical talent in support of the historic Wheeling venue.
The event will begin with a social hour from 6 to 7 p.m., offering hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and desserts prior to the start of performances at 7 p.m.
The Towngate Cabaret serves as a benefit event designed to support programming and operations at Towngate Theatre & Cinema, which has long been a home for live theater, film, and community arts programming in the Ohio Valley.
Tickets for the event remain available online, and organizers are encouraging community members to attend in support of local arts while enjoying an evening of live entertainment.
