WHEELING, W.Va. — WVU Medicine is helping local student-athletes get ready for the upcoming sports season by offering free sports physicals on Saturday, June 27, at WesBanco Arena.
The event is open to area high school athletes and will provide the required physical examinations needed for participation in school sports programs. WVU Medicine says both West Virginia and Ohio athletic association forms will be available during the event.
Physicals will be conducted from 9 a.m. to noon, and organizers stress that prior registration is required.
The free event is designed to make it easier for families to complete pre-season requirements while ensuring young athletes are healthy and ready for competition.
