Ohio Announces 8 Projects Bringing 1,618 Jobs and $1.8B in Investment

Ohio leaders announced eight new economic development projects expected to create 1,618 jobs and retain 1,835 more across the state.

Governor Mike DeWine says the projects will generate more than $133 million in new payroll and over $1.8 billion in investment.

Major projects include OPmobility’s first Ohio investment in Rossford, creating 541 jobs, and Hikma Pharmaceuticals expansions in Bedford and Columbus, adding 350 jobs.

Other approved projects include Aerovironment in Greene County, AAA in Cincinnati and Worthington, Weidmann in Middletown and Urbana, Cologix data center projects in Delaware and Licking counties, and Killer Brownie’s expansion in Springboro.

State officials say the projects strengthen Ohio’s automotive, healthcare, aerospace, defense, data center, manufacturing, and food production sectors.
