WHEELING, W.Va. — A portion of Chapline Street in downtown Wheeling has been temporarily closed as crews operate a crane in the roadway.
The closure affects Chapline Street between 11th and 12th streets and was reported at approximately 10:48 a.m. Friday.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternate routes until the crane operation is complete and the roadway reopens.
It was not immediately clear how long the closure will remain in place or what project the crane is being used for.
