MARTINS FERRY, Ohio — Residents across Martins Ferry are without water service following a traffic crash Tuesday morning that damaged part of the city’s water system.
According to an update from the City of Martins Ferry, water service will remain off until further notice while crews work to repair the damage.
City crews are actively working on the system and attempting to restore service as quickly as possible.
Officials have not provided an estimated time for when repairs will be completed or when water service will return.
The city is asking residents for patience while the work continues and says water will be restored as soon as repairs are completed.
