America 250 Ohio Barn Unveiled Along I-71 in Clinton County

CLINTON COUNTY, Ohio — A familiar landmark along Interstate 71 has a new look as Ohio prepares to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

The Clinton County bicentennial barn has been transformed into the official Clinton County America 250 Ohio barn, featuring new metal siding and a large America 250 Ohio logo.

The barn can be seen by motorists traveling northbound on I-71 just west of Wilmington.

Crews completed the siding and painting over portions of eight days while working through extremely hot summer conditions. According to organizers, the finished Clinton County design features the largest logo of the project and marks the final official painting in a series of six America 250 Ohio barns across the state.

The project gives new life to one of Ohio’s recognizable bicentennial barns while connecting the landmark to the upcoming national commemoration.

America will mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, with events and projects planned across Ohio throughout the year.
