WEIRTON, W.Va. — Madonna High School’s Class of 2027 will host the Perry Duckworth Memorial Car & Bike Show next month, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Parkinson’s research.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 6, at West Virginia Northern Community College, 150 Park Ave. in Weirton. Registration will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., followed by the car and bike show from 2 to 5 p.m. A rain date is scheduled for Sept. 13.
Registration is $5. In addition to the vehicles on display, organizers plan to feature trophies, a 50/50 drawing, Chinese auction, door prizes, a DJ and food and drinks.
The show is being held in memory of Perry Duckworth, with organizers announcing that a portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated toward Parkinson’s research.
The event is open to both cars and motorcycles. Alcohol will not be permitted at the show.
