WHEELING, W.Va. — The Wheeling Police Department will hold its next Business District Crime Watch Meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 7, giving local businesses an opportunity to discuss public safety in the city’s downtown and Centre Market areas.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Wheeling Police Department headquarters, located at 2115 Chapline Street.
The Business District Crime Watch meetings are held quarterly for businesses in the downtown and Centre Market areas. Meetings are scheduled throughout the year in January, April, July and October.
The program provides a regular opportunity for the police department and members of the local business community to meet and discuss issues affecting the city’s business districts.
The Oct. 7 meeting will be held at WPD headquarters beginning at 5:30 p.m.
