WETZEL COUNTY, W.Va. — A portion of WV 7 (Mountaineer Highway) will be reduced to one lane for several weeks as pipeline construction gets underway.
The lane restriction will be in place from milepost 30.04 to milepost 30.64, beginning Friday, January 23, 2026, and continuing through early April. Work is scheduled daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Flaggers will be on site to maintain traffic flow through the work zone. Motorists traveling through the area are advised to reduce speed and expect minor delays.
Officials note that the project schedule could change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
