Former Marshall County Educator Waives Preliminary Hearing in Child Abuse Case

MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. — A former Marshall County educator accused of strangling a six-year-old autistic student at McNinch Elementary School in Moundsville last year waived her right to a preliminary hearing Thursday.

Kiersten Moses faces multiple felony charges in connection with the alleged incident. Marshall County Schools Special Programs Director Erin Cuffaro also faces charges related to the case.

Both cases are now expected to be presented to the Marshall County Grand Jury during its next session in March.
