STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — One of Steubenville’s longest-running summer traditions is returning this week as Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church prepares to host its 40th annual Greek Fest.
The three-day festival, held on Fourth Street, celebrates Greek culture through traditional food, pastries, music, dancing and community fellowship. The event has been a local favorite since its beginnings in 1986 and continues to draw visitors from across the Ohio Valley.
Volunteers spent Tuesday making final preparations ahead of the festival’s opening, setting the stage for three days of entertainment, cultural activities and authentic Greek cuisine.
Organizers say the event is an opportunity to share Greek traditions and welcome the community to experience the church’s heritage and hospitality.
The festival will run June 10-12 in downtown Steubenville. Admission is free, and visitors can enjoy live entertainment, traditional Greek food, pastries, music, and cultural activities throughout the three-day event.
