Local College to Open Motorcycle Training Site This Fall

ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — Belmont College will launch a new motorcycle training site this fall in partnership with Motorcycle Ohio, giving local riders the chance to learn essential safety and riding skills in a structured setting.

The program will limit class sizes to 12 students to ensure personalized instruction. At a cost of $75, participants will be provided motorcycles for use during the course.

College officials said the initiative is designed to make motorcycle education more accessible for area residents. Motorcycle Ohio, which has trained more than 200,000 riders since its inception in 1987, offers nationally recognized safety courses taught by certified instructors.

The training will emphasize defensive riding, hazard recognition, and safe motorcycling practices, preparing riders with the skills needed to stay safe on the road.
