Bellaire McDonald’s Stabbing Suspect Bound Over to Grand Jury

BELLAIRE, Ohio – The woman facing charges of felonious assault after allegedly stabbing a 26-year-old man last week at the McDonald’s in Bellaire appeared in court Thursday for a pretrial hearing.

Aryan Summer Alvarez, 30, is accused of stabbing the man at the fast-food restaurant following an altercation.

Bellaire police later arrested Alvarez on Monroe Street in Bellaire, where officers say she was in possession of methamphetamine and a gold-colored dagger. She also faces charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities say they have video evidence from the crime scene.

Alvarez’s bond was raised to $50,000, and her case will now be sent to the grand jury.

She remains incarcerated at the Belmont County Jail.
