WHEELING, W.Va. — A portion of Interstate 470 in Wheeling will be subject to nighttime lane closures beginning Monday, May 4, for barrier wall painting work.
According to transportation officials, the right lane on both eastbound and westbound I-470 will be closed from milepost 0.01 to milepost 1.0 between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.
The project is scheduled to continue through late May 22.
Officials said the work is being performed during overnight hours to minimize disruptions to traffic. Motorists are advised to slow down and follow posted signs while traveling through the work zone.
The schedule could change due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
