Several local universities celebrated commencement ceremonies over the weekend, honoring hundreds of graduates as they marked the completion of their college careers.
Franciscan University of Steubenville graduated its largest class ever this year, with more than 925 students receiving diplomas during commencement exercises.
At Bethany College, graduates heard remarks from alumnus and retired CBS News correspondent Bob Orr.
West Liberty University also celebrated commencement weekend, awarding degrees to a new class of Hilltoppers.
Meanwhile, more than 200 students graduated from Wheeling University during ceremonies held over the weekend.
