BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – The Belmont County Commissioners on Thursday approved a motion to acknowledge the receipt of a $10,000.00 donation from an anonymous donor, in
memory of Denise O’Connell, to the Belmont County Animal Shelter.
In the past two years, many local residents have made substantial donations to the shelter with some donors remaining anonymous or marking contributions to honor deceased persons.
The shelter is also soliciting donations of goods for animals.
The commissioners also approved the contract assignment consent from TC Architects for the new Belmont County animal shelter project. Commissioners noted that TC Architects has merged with Pickering Associates.
