Free Trees Available Through Arbor Day Foundation Program for Ohio Valley Residents

OHIO VALLEY — Residents across the Ohio Valley have an opportunity to receive free tree seedlings through a limited-time environmental promotion aimed at encouraging community planting and conservation efforts.

The Arbor Day Foundation is offering eligible participants 10 free tree seedlings, which will be shipped directly to their homes after completing a short survey and making a donation by May 29.

According to the organization, the initiative is designed to promote tree planting across communities while supporting long-term environmental benefits such as improved air quality, expanded wildlife habitats, increased shade coverage, and overall ecosystem health.

The Arbor Day Foundation, widely recognized for its conservation and reforestation efforts nationwide, says the trees included in the promotion are selected based on regional climate conditions to help ensure successful growth in local environments.

The offer has gained attention online, with many residents sharing interest in gardening, landscaping, and environmental improvement projects as participation in the program continues to rise.

Environmental experts note that even a small number of newly planted trees can provide lasting benefits to neighborhoods, including reduced urban heat, improved stormwater management, and enhanced property aesthetics.

Residents interested in the program are encouraged to complete the required steps before the May 29 deadline to qualify for the free seedlings.
