Wheeling Police Invite Businesses to Monthly Crime Watch Meetings

WHEELING, W.Va. — The Wheeling Police Department is reminding downtown and Centre Market business owners about its monthly Business Crime Watch meetings.

The next meeting will be held Wednesday, June 3, at 5:30 p.m. at Wheeling Police Headquarters, 2115 Chapline Street.

Police say the meetings provide an opportunity for local businesses to discuss safety concerns, crime trends, and ways to work together to keep Wheeling’s business districts safe.

Officials noted the meetings are intended for business owners and operators only. Neighborhood Crime Watch meetings are held separately.

The Wheeling Police Department encourages businesses in the downtown and Centre Market areas to attend and participate in the ongoing community safety effort.
