MARTINS FERRY, Ohio — Law enforcement agencies are searching for an 80-year-old Fairfield County man who has been reported missing and endangered after driving away from his residence Monday.
Authorities say Roger Brewer, of Millersport, Ohio, suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and requires medication. Officials are concerned for his safety and are asking the public to be on the lookout for both Brewer and his vehicle.
According to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, Brewer left his residence around 11 a.m. Monday. He was last known to be driving a white 2012 GMC Acadia bearing Ohio license plate KKF7531.
Brewer is described as a white male, 80 years old, standing approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a Corvette ball cap, glasses, a white shirt, and blue jeans.
Information shared through law enforcement channels indicates the vehicle was last electronically pinged in the Martins Ferry area around 9 p.m. Monday evening.
A statewide BOLO (Be On the Lookout) has been issued as authorities continue their search efforts.
