STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — Steubenville is preparing to celebrate the legacy of hometown entertainment icon Dean Martin as the annual Dean Martin Festival returns for its 30th year.
The three-day event begins Thursday and continues through Saturday, bringing visitors from across the region to honor the legendary singer, actor, and comedian known as the “King of Cool.”
Festival organizers have planned a wide variety of activities, including live entertainment, historical tours, a 5K race, karaoke competitions, and a traditional Dean Martin-style roast.
In addition to celebrating Martin’s life and career, the festival continues his legacy of giving back. Proceeds from the event will benefit several charitable organizations, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association, The Arc, the Italian American Cultural Club, and the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation.
Organizers say the festival serves as both a tribute to one of Steubenville’s most famous natives and a way to support causes that reflect Martin’s long history of charitable work.
A full schedule of events is available through the Dean Martin Association.
