GUERNSEY COUNTY, Ohio — Guernsey County is among 15 Ohio counties selected to participate in a pilot program aimed at improving children’s eye health.
The OhioSee program focuses on children in kindergarten through third grade and is designed to identify and address vision problems at an early age. The program will provide comprehensive eye exams and prescription glasses at no cost to families.
Officials say the goal of OhioSee is to remove barriers to vision care and help ensure children can see clearly in the classroom, supporting learning and overall development.
The pilot program will be implemented in Guernsey County along with 14 other counties across the state.
