Kelly Tucker told board members during the latest meeting of the Greater Wheeling Sports and Entertainment Authority that the national concert industry is currently experiencing a downturn.
Tucker said Live Nation Entertainment lost approximately $25,000 on a previous booking of Godsmack in Wheeling.
According to Tucker, the financial loss resulted in Live Nation declining to book additional shows in the city.
