WHEELING, W.Va. — Community leaders from across the Ohio Valley will gather on Wednesday, June 10, as Wheeling Heritage hosts its annual “Power of Partnerships” Luncheon at the Wheeling Artisan Center.
The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and will highlight how collaboration between government agencies, businesses, and nonprofit organizations is helping support economic growth and revitalization efforts throughout Wheeling and the surrounding region.
According to Wheeling Heritage Executive Director Scott Schenerlein, partnerships have played a key role in many of the successful projects and developments seen across the city in recent years.
The luncheon will feature a panel discussion with representatives from several local organizations, including:
- The City of Wheeling
- Ohio County Commission
- Visit Wheeling
- Regional Economic Development Partnership (RED)
- Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley
- Wheeling Area Chamber
- Wheeling Heritage
Former Wheeling Heritage Executive Director Hydie Friend will serve as moderator for the discussion.
Organizers say the event is designed to encourage conversation about the importance of cooperation and shared investment in the future of the Ohio Valley.
The luncheon costs $15 per person and includes a buffet lunch. Reservations are requested by Friday, June 5.
