WHEELING, W.Va. — Police are asking for the public’s assistance as they investigate multiple vehicle break-ins reported in Wheeling’s Elm Grove neighborhood.
According to the Wheeling Police Department, several vehicles along Acosta and Center avenues were entered over the weekend, and property was reported stolen.
Investigators believe the incidents occurred either Friday night or Saturday night.
Anyone with information or home surveillance footage that may have captured suspicious activity is asked to contact Wheeling police at 304-234-3664. Anonymous tips may also be submitted online at wheelingwv.gov/crimetip.
Police are reminding residents to secure their vehicles and avoid leaving valuables inside.
